President Donald J. Trump broke away from his security detail before boarding Marine One to greet local enforcement officers following a roundtable discussion on illegal immigration in Bethpage, New York on Wednesday. The video, tweeted by White House aide Dan Scavino Jr., shows Trump jogging over to shake hands with a row of New York State Police and Nassau County Police officers.
“As the granddaughter of a firefighter I’m so proud to work for a president who supports the men and women of fire departments across the country, as seen here today in Bethpage, NY,” tweeted White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

By the way, note that he chose to do this while the Dems are trying to accuse him of “going after law enforcement” because of his helpful effort to get to the bottom of Spygate (a name that could be even more meaningful than “Watergate” when this is all wrapped up.)
