He got a taste of Trump first hand when Trump dropped kicked the talks right into Kim's lap with that in your face surprise letter. Kim might wise up..He might not. Why not hope for the best now the Kim knows he can't bull shit Trump?
Btw, are you not the one who's been saying it was going to be Kim who bailed out of this? That Kim would never attend, and those that hoped for the best were considered uninformed?

In 1976 N Korea killed 2 US soldiers in the DMZ. The Dems and the media did not interfere in President Ford's efforts to show strength without starting a bloody war, because "Politics end at the water's edge." No longer do they follow that principle. They are openly opposing Trump, regardless of the good of this nation.
Trump might have handled the crises better than Ford, but the point is, today the media does not want the nation to unite.
