Fox News via The Last Refuge ^ | May 25, 2018 | Tucker Carlson Tonight

What exactly does the word “spy” mean? That is the current mystery being debated amid the apex intellectual circles in Washington DC.

(Excerpt) Read more at theconservativetreehouse.com ...

TOPICS: Culture/Society; News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: liars; mainstream; media; spygate
The media is playing word games with Spygate, calling spying "reporting by a confidential informant". They are skilled propagandists, and are convincing to the low information voters because they control most of the news reporting and a huge percentage of the entertainment content.

This segment between Dan Bongino and Tucker Carlson is very informative.

And, we’re right back to ... “It depends on what the meaning of ‘is’ is.”

The media does not challenge this weasel talk when it suites their agenda, and even partakes of it when it suits their agenda.

Well our DC elite can play all the word games they want, but the rest of us have no trouble consulting a dictionary if necessary. "Spy" is both a noun and a verb.

noun -- A person who secretly collects and reports information on the activities, movements, and plans of an enemy or competitor. (synonyms include secret agent, intelligence agent, mole)

verb -- I am going to spy on my business competitor.

Of course, our "elite betters" in politics and media always like to make things more complicated than necessary to try to look much smarter than the rest of us. Phooey!

And funny too.

I think that Dan’s definition of an ‘informant’ being someone already there who starts talking versus a ‘spy’ being someone being brought in from the outside to collect information was right on.

The dims are arguing semantics.

Do not let them hoodwink you.

“Informant”? “Spy”?

Informant = Spy = Informant, ad infinitum!

Jeez!

they are worse than informants, spies or assets, they were passing false information to entrap members of the Trump campaign. That is an overt act of the conspiracy not just gathering information but passing on false information for an illegal purpose-entrapment.

If they were just making sure there was no forign influence within the Trump campaign, it should be no problem to release the names of those they had placed in the Clinton campaign, for the same purpose.

These people will be exposed eventually... probably a decade after they all die of old age.

Exactly. They were agent provocateurs.

There are zero ethical or legal reasons to employ them in such circumstances.

The Operatives didn’t ‘gather’ information. They planted and
‘dirtied up’ Trump & Co as their “Insurance Policy” to delegitimize DJT administration.

Here is what Director Mueller said in 2005 about confidential informants:

"When we asked Director Mueller about the value of confidential informants today, he stated:

"Human sources are vitally important to our success against terrorists and criminals. They often give us critical intelligence and information we could not obtain in other ways, opening a window into our adversaries' plans and capabilities. Human sources can mean the difference between the FBI preventing an act of terrorism or crime, or reacting to an incident after the fact."

So in the case of the Trump campaign infiltration (spy, C.I., take your choice), was it to open a window into political adversary(ies) or to prevent a crime so they don't react to it after the fact.....which is what appears to be happening now?

The same media that refers to marked reconnaissance aircraft as spy planes, is fussing about referring to clandestine informants sent to insinuate themselves as allies as spies?

IMHO it is very simple.

If they did same to Hillary's campaign, it was to prevent crimes.

If they singled out the Trump campaign, it was to aid Hillary's campaign and protect the deep state, or to commit a legal coup against an qualified candidate or elected President, and protect the deep state.

I enjoy watching Bongino on Fox. He never minces words. But he so frustrated by what’s going on in DC that I’m afraid that one day we’ll witness him in a situation of spontaneous human combustion.

And if he’s debating a leftist they’re usually not in a studio together. I think Dan would physically attack someone he becomes so angry at their lies.
