As if Trump can’t just appoint an acting head of the DOJ. Mitch is a much bigger problem than Paul ever was!
It would not be unprecedented for Trump to fire Sessions and never appoint a replacement. He hasn’t done it at the cabinet level but he’s done it elsewhere. I’m dealing with a client who has a matter before a Federal regulatory board. The board is supposed to have 5 members but only has 2 because nobody has been nominated to fill the 3 vacant seats.
