The White House Monday declared President Trump’s first 500 days a celebration of “American Greatness,” dishing a 60-point list of major accomplishments that tops those of most recent presidents....But as in the past when they sought to blow their horn, the mainstream media remained focused on his legal issues.

Trump, his senior aides and supporters in Congress have regularly complained that the media isn’t covering the achievements of the administration.

Continue for the White House list of accomplishments....

I watched today’s White House “reporters’” briefing. The reporters acted like the bird house at the zoo: screeching, cackling, preening, taking craps, vomiting, fighting. I give Sanders extra credit for not just hosing them down. She is a class act in an impossible situation.

Basically focusing on why Trump dictated a letter explaining the now famous June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting.

When Trump was not even POTUS! Again, what’s the crime? Now they’re parsing his words for alleged “consciousness of guilt.”

Didn’t bother them when Bubba split hairs to get himself out of a legal jam - and the critical difference is what Bubba did was in his official capacity as President whereas what Trump did occurred when he was a private citizen!

Sheesh. Can a President be indicted for prior acts as a private citizen? That’s an interesting question. Maybe Mueller can test the theory but Trump wasn’t at the Trump Tower meeting and he can’t testify to anything that went on there.

And this with Urkle leading in the Senate, and the Beaver running the House.

It may not matter whether the MSM covers the accomplishments of the last 500 days. They have become irrelevant over that time as well as before the election.

Make the fake news media do the hard work of ferreting out info themselves.

No reason Sarah Sanders has to be abused by them every day.

I saw it also.....They’re really very much like a classroom of whining pre-schoolers who don’t want to do the work they’re suppose to do....... the ‘begging’ is hysterical!

Well I’ve tuned the news off except for news hours...and even then if they’re whining or bickering among themselves I shut it down.

Frankly the younger women at Fox have the most annoying voices....like cat fight levels! So they’ve fast been shut down as well even when speaking in their normal voice....just too screechy!

They need to do something as it’s just a brawl against Sarah and the Administration. Though she handles them exceptionally well, I can’t say it’s worth her bother when they’re like a room full of children begging for attention one way or the other. Their questions alone are intended to inflame not get at the truth!

She could give her report in parts by topic, inviting questions on that topic only before going on to the next topic. One question to a person for the entire news briefing. At the end she could open up for questions not on the actual news of the day. Then a few people who have not already asked any meaningful information-seeking questions could ask one. Allow only about five minutes for this.

No reasonably competent school teacher would run her classroom as poorly as these news briefings. No question should be answered twice.

Controlling the press room is like trying to discipline children with their parents in the room. The best you can hope for is the public sees them as they are.
