I was on the Coco County Republican Central Committee back in the “Bill Baker Day.” He was an egalitarian jerk who sent his kids to private school. Tauscher was the RAT “block buster.” No one could believe a RAT could live in Alamo.
I think it's time for somebody in California to say that calling it a "Jungle" primary is racist or something.
Maybe it's like "Democrats & planet of the apes had a baby=jungle primary." California's minority voters are not happy.
Or something.

There are few signs the system has led to more centrist candidates. None of the candidates in a crowded field for governor have cast themselves as a successor to outgoing Gov. Jerry Brown (D), a moderate fiscal hawk who has filled the states rainy-day fund.

I do not agree with the author of the article...I would not call Jerry Brown, a moderate fiscal hawk...Remember Brown is determined to waste money on high speed rail...Brown got Legislature to approve gas tax increase...
I really wish there was some kind of movement to get rid of this jungle primary system...Even Green Party and Libertarian Party should be for getting rid of this system...I am not a fan of those parties...However, I think people should be able to vote for those parties in general election...
I just wonder if enough of us did that, and she got elected to several offices, whether she would contest any disqualification movement and sue to serve them all.
Doesn't qualify? Never stopped her before!
She is the quintessential criminal carpetbagger supremo...
She has all the tricks down, and probably a few others we have never seen yet.
McNerney's district moved to Stockton, but I don't know if he did, too, although he still represents it.
