So what you’re saying is, the studio doesn’t even have the bad excuse of “we need Asians in the cast if we’re going to make any money in the China market, or even be allowed to screen it there” to support such a bad casting decision?
And Vietnamese and Chinese aren’t exactly best pals. Even Ho Chi Minh once said, “I’d rather smell French s__t for five years, than Chinese s__t for a thousand years.”
There’s nothing wrong with the casting decision. She’s a fine actress, the dialog blew, but she didn’t write it.
