On Monday, when Connecticut had its State Open track and field championships at Willow Brook Park, one person broke the State Open records for girls in both the 100 and 200-meter runs.
That person was a biological boy.
Terry Miller of Bulkeley, a transgender, won the events. In the 100 meter dash, the runner-up was Andraya Yearwood of Cromwell, also a transgender.
Here are the two races:
Yearwood won the Class M sprint titles last year; Miller competed on the boys’ team during the winter indoor season then joined the girls’ competition.
Feel free to fly into a fit because someone chooses to state the obvious facts out loud, but Terry Miller and Andraya Yearwood are not girls. They’re boys, with the physique of boys and impressive athletic prowess. This wasn’t some local meet for bragging rights between local schools. This was a state-level event which would determine who went on to the New England championships. It’s also a pathway for many girls to secure a college scholarship.
CIAC executive director Karissa Niehoff had this to say. “We do feel for them. Fully agree it doesn’t feel good. The optic isn’t good. But we really do have to look at the bigger issues that speak to civil rights and the fact this is high school sports.”

Once that happens, there will be tremendous political and legal pressure to end all scholastic sports entirely. Most high school and collegiate sports will be replaced by private club teams that can set their own rules and deal with misfits and freaks as they see fit.

What’s right becomes wrong, what’s evil becomes good, What’s male becomes female, etc.etc.. The insanity knows no bounds as the brain continues to totally rot out. They’re truly evil and capable of anything....very dangerous.
What we’re seeing here is the results of unbridled, unhinged liberal insanity at its very finest. 50-60 years ago, they’d be locked up in a state mental hospital for even suggesting something as insane as this, and that’s where they ought to be today. They’re crazy.

I do hope men’s programs survive, but what the heck.
Don’t forget, at the college level there is a ton of money involved.
Cancel those programs, you lose the generated income.
Of course they could license private clubs to replace the institutional programs I guess.

How do kids get scholarships? Are they going to become employees. Does each of them instantly lose amateur standing?
What do you expect them to do? This is Connecticut, one of the deepest “blue” states in the U.S. I’m sure their progressive brains short-circuited over this conundrum. LOL.

This is no way to help female athletes, by letting boys dress up as them and deprive them of their just victories.

That it even reached this point in the first place argues that we are way down slope culturally. It’s hard to imagine how it somehow turns around, I think there is reason to doubt that it ever will at this point.

I remember saying this same thing about gay rights longer ago than 2017, that the real battle was picking your own gender, but I guess it’s too old for Google to remember it.
