Sen. Chuck Schumer dismissed President Trump’s sitdown with North Korea's Kim Jong Un as nothing more than “a reality show summit.”
Schumer, speaking on the Senate floor Tuesday, said Trump has already given up American leverage on North Korea.
Schumer said if Pyongyang doesn't give up its nuclear weapons, the "meeting alone will be a victory for North Korea and a defeat for the U.S."
Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) said he was similarly surprised on Tuesday, telling reporters he is “very troubled” by the stalling of military exercises in the region.
“I was surprised, frankly, because the President had said earlier that that was not necessarily going to be part of the first meeting,” Perdue, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee said. “The coordination with South Korean military is absolutely critical.”

The video is a bit Hokie until you realize that it’s intended for the the North and South Korean people to watch.
Sometimes things start with an idea. Once people have a taste of the good life and freedom, there is no going backwards.
This suprises me about Iran as you’d think there are people there who remember the good life...
But you then realize they are gone.
It will take considerable guts for Kim to pull this out. He’s purged his military and others, maybe he will. Hard to say.
You look around him, and it’s clear why he pursued nuclear weapons, he really had no choice... or maybe even giving the impression that he had them.

The Democrats, in their red hot hatred for Trump, are exposing just how Anti-American they truly are (and have been, especially the last 8 years, but even prior to that). Let’s hope they pay the price, one way or another, for backstabbing their fellow Americans and the country.

it’s actually much more than that: Trump is going all out to deliberately assuage Kim’s massive ego, a very, very effective technique, which costs essentially nothing, and has everything to gain ...
(ironically, the rest of the world has tried that very same technique with Trump in various trade negotiations, and have been really pissed off that it hasn’t worked.)
why doesn’t he come out and say, “it’s crumbs” like his pal Pelosi.
