“New York Times reporter broke the biggest rule in journalism”
IMO, approving of and publishing KNOWN LIES is just a step above sleeping with a source.
To: Magnatron
According to this standard, she did not break any rules, as I seriously doubt that there was a romantic relationship between a 22 year old hooker and a 58 year old man. It was likely just a simple trade - sex for classified information. A business transaction.
To: Magnatron
So in the old days this woman would have been fired. Now, the NY Times is allowing their reporters to screw the elephants and cover the circus.

NYT has rules against journalists having sex?
I doubt it.
They may have rules against getting caught having sex, not the sex itself.
Anything for a good story.

Too bad the biggest rule in journalism isn't "Tell the truth".
Walter Duranty's employer still stands by his lies; they have exactly ZERO moral authority.

Finally! “Military Intelligence” has a legitimate rival for the “oxymoron” prize.

I thought the biggest rule was to never say anything good about a Conservative.

It is always time to slut shame. For the wages of sluttery are heavy. And when you have a revelation later in life (like Julia Allison recently), it may already be too late.
So the NY Slimes appears to agree that Ali Watkins' standards, such as getting b@nged out by her sources, are their standards too.
