I believe that one silver lining in us becoming a litigious society is that thanks to ambulance chasers it is very difficult for insurance companies to claim “pre-existing” conditions unless it is very clear that is the case. And getting sick while insured does not mean that if you are still sick a year later it suddenly becomes a pre-existing condition.

True. But today grandpa wouldn’t get coverage because he was a smoker.

But the kicker is he would have still gotten the same results. Dead. My granny(her husband)and later, my dad got the cancer and died soon after being diagnosed. All had good coverage and the “best” medical care available. My mom, I fear will soon join them(prayers)

Cancer is a wicked disease and will claim it’s victims. Just a matter of time(IMHO)
