Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his team have been aggressively pursuing former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, even tacking on new charges of obstruction of justice due to alleged attempted witness tampering.
Although Mueller has been tight-lipped about evidence and witness identification up to this point, his team appears to have screwed up by outing journalists who produced messages to the FBI about Manaforts alleged coaching up on lobbying practices. Manafort was indicted in D.C. back in October 2017 for alleged financial fraud and violating lobbying disclosure laws. Theres also a case against him in the Eastern District of Virginia (EDVA).
Special Counsel accidentally exposed names of former journalists and European politicians allegedly involved in Manaforts secret Ukraine lobbying. Just filed a new version with redactions, explained Washington Post reporter Rachel Weiner:
Unredacted government exhibit showing alleged attempts by Manafort and Kilimnik to influence witness testimonies has been released. The witnesses, journalists [ ] produced the messages to the FBI, the Atlantics Natasha Bertrand added.
In a later tweet, Bertrand wrote, Oh boy. Looks like releasing this unredacted was a mistakespecial counsel has just re-filed this and other docs with redactions. (Kilimniks name is redacted, too, interestingly.)
Konstantin Kilimnik was newly named in the attempted witness tampering indictment also adds another defendant, who allegedly worked for Davis Manafort Partners International and acted in concert with Manafort and Rick Gates in their work for the Ukrainian government.
The simplest evidence that there was a screw-up here is that what was unredacted is now redacted.

Crap or get off the pot.
When you have a blank check and no deadline, you can be as sloppy as you want.
The Chinese collusion with Clinton Gore in 1996 was resolved in shorter time.

And no accountability. That’s the biggie.
>>FBI agents were also denied the opportunity to ask President Clinton and Vice President Gore questions during Justice Department interviews in 1997 and 1998 and were only allowed to take notes
>>During the interviews, neither Clinton nor Gore were asked any questions about fund-raisers John Huang, James Riady, nor the Hsi Lai Buddhist Temple fund-raising event led by Maria Hsia and attended by John Huang and Ted Sioeng
Mueller keeps RosenWeasel’s rubber stamp on Mueller’s desk to save RosenWeasel the time and effort to do it himself.
Johnny Huang and Charlie Tri.
A real gaggle of sleazeballs travel in Clintons orbit going way back.
Not even remotely plausible. They clearly intended to file unredacted pleadings.
Remember when he ran to court on a Friday to have Manafort jailed? I saw zero reporting on that failure.
Well, who are the journalists? Journalists interviewed by the lawyers working for the Special Counsel? Hmmm. I wonder how many journalists are sleeping with Mueller’s lawyers.
Messy. Time to drop the cases, all of them.
The Berman Jackson judge is freaking unbelievably openly biased. She’s pretty much part of the damn FBI special council. Where the F-bomb is the oversite from the judicial branch. It’s like special council is writing the answers to the motions on both sides.
I know it’s the law clerk writing the actual answers and rulings, but wow is this $hit judge so biased.
Dude Jeff Sessions, if you’re reading this, if you’re not going to fix this problem, you ARE THE PROBLEM, and you must resign if you have any shame!
No evidence, no witnesses, just phantom charges the special council can get indictments for anything?
Jeff Sessions go home man!
You are letting these A$$holes destroy our justice system.
28 years in DOJ service, Rosenstein is above reproach Sessions said today. blah blah blah. 28 years of swamp creature behavior!
Sessions is nothing more than Rosenstein’s Butler!
Sessions is enabling Rosenstein to run amok over any Trump allies whether they be congressional oversite or campaign aides.
Never seen evil like Muller/Rosenstein in my lifetime.
Can’t wait for Rosenstein to be a private citizen!
Sleeping (hardly) more like shifts of hot-bunking.
Mueller’s first screw up is becoming Special Persecutor.
The guy is as dumb as a rock. A true legacy hire.
Reminds me of a civil lawsuit I was working on some years ago. The plaintiff’s attorney breached his client’s attorney-client privilege by copying the DEFENDANT on a privileged communication. LMAO.
Yeah, but for obstructing the Senate committee investigation, John Glenn got to ride in the SST.
