I believe there is a reason the story about Rosenstein threatening House Committee staffers was released yesterday.

I believe Rosenstein forced major rewrites of IG Horowitz’s report that will be released this afternoon.

I also believe the Nunes Committee will demand to get a copy of the original IG Horowitz’s report to see how much was eliminated and watered down.

you is a general conversational rhetorical “you” meaning “one”, except that writing “one” sounds so stiff and formal no one wants to read it.

You may be right.

I don't know what is going on. I just feel that the swamp is still incredibly immense.

...”they should be cleaning out RR’s office.”

Many years ago I saw it done at an international organization. Fellow went to a meeting and came back to find his office padlocked. He was “fired” for using official resources to improve his residence but that was nothing more than a minor inconvenience. He’d kept a “Book”, a detailed record of home remodeling services provided “on the arm” to a long list of executives. None of it made the papers, likely because of “The Book” and political influence with a major newspaper. Still, that didn’t prevent an in-house inquisition....

"writing “one” sounds so stiff and formal no one wants to read it"

____________

I hear you, A.J..

I was overly sensitive in my remarks, and what you say here is true.

However, I would have felt fine if you used "one".

I learned my Language/English back in the 50's when "one" would have been the correct way to say what you meant.

Nevertheless, thank you for both of your posts.

I know you have been a great FReeper for a long time.

MAGA

All Trump has to do to get rid of this turd is order him to provide him with an Unredacted version of the report with a line by line legal reason for each redaction by Monday Morning.

If he provides it fire him for witholding information from the public that casts a bad light on the DOJ.

If he refuses, fire him for insubordination and Obstructing Justice by Threatening Congressional Staff.

Wtf is trump doing about it..

Nothing right now.

But with the inspector general report as evidence and the congress critters turning on DOJ/RR for dragging their feet and threatening their staff now is the time for POTUS to strike.

Firing staff and de-classifying materials/unredacting as his weapons.

POTUS is waiting for the right timing.

Uh no. Trumps subordinates are negligent in not responding to Congress. He can fire them at any time.

Trump can cover a prodigious number of matters, but he does need plenty of support.

Compare and contrast Mike Pompeo vs. Sessions...

Sessions and the Rid need to be gone yesterday, support or no. When findings go against trump no matter how trumped up theya re, it will be too late.

What kind of country does he think he lives in?

He knows perfectly well what kind of country he lives in, it appears to be you who is confused.

The Founders didn't envision a gigantic, unelected, unaccountable federal bureaucracy with unbridled powers to spy on, threaten, and blackmail elected officials and hound them out of office if they attempted reform.

John Adams predicted that The Constitution would not be able to restrain the evil people we have in power now.

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the governance of any other." October 11, 1798 John Adams

We now live it the time of any other.
