Report: Peter Strzok Vowed ‘We’ Would ‘Stop’ Trump from Becoming President
Breitbart ^ | 14 Jun 2018 | Ian Mason

The eagerly anticipated Justice Department (DOJ) Inspector General (IG) Micheal Horowitz’s report on the FBI’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation includes a previously unreleased text message exchange between disgraced FBI Agent Peter Strzok and his extramarital lover Lisa Page, according to Bloomberg’s Jennifer Jacobs.

Jabobs’ reporting, which came hours before the official release of the IG’s report Thursday, has Strzok assuring Page, “We’ll stop it,” when asked about the possibility of Donald Trump becoming President.

Yes who is this WE??? The FBI should be dismantled, and maybe local state offices can still operate to help with local serious crimes within their state.

This federal agency is a dangerous joke.

Rush just said this proves the FBI was trying to subvert the election.

Of course it does. The only one it seems to minimally "exonerate" in that regard is Comey.

The facts as we know them now in June 2018 are clear. The FBI is a rogue political agency and should be disbanded.

Then how could you conclude that no political bias by these people influence their investigation of Hillary Clinton?

Trey Gowdy is very upset by all of this.

Oh, he’s not going to do anything about it. But he’s very upset.

The “no bias” comment appears to be only regarding Comey- it doesn’t seem to apply to the FBI as a whole.

Comey probably muddied the water with his report on Hillary’s email server just prior to the election. On one side it exonerated her, on the other it had to have done some damage as far as votes.

I see. Horowitz leading the IGs in suing Obama counts for nothing.

This is a Justice Department I.G. report.

Who, exactly, do you think is going to see to it that justice is done?

Nothing short of disbanding the entire FBI and most of the rest of “Justice” and starting over again will make a bit of difference...And we both know that’s not going to happen within the Government.

We should have started shooting at the bastards by now.

Horowitz won. Which is why this investigation began before Trump took office.

Hey, thanks for the links to the two articles. I was not aware that Obama tied the agencies' hands to do their jobs properly back in 2015.

Obama was probably thinking ahead in order to limit any investigatory powers the DOJ/IG had to keep his neck out of a noose.

Can Trump overturn these restrictions?

It's starting to appear that the best way to clean-up these intelligence agencies, is to sweep them clean and start over.

The smell of rotten fish and cat urine will be hard to get rid of.

Easier said than done.

“Can Trump overturn these restrictions?”

They’re long gone. Michael Horowitz as the head of the IGs association sued the Obama regime to have them removed and won.

So you're saying this report was watered down because of Deep State bias and interference and not because Horowitz's hands were tied?

How in the hale could the investigators find no evidence of political bias in letting Clinton off the hook?

That's laughable on the surface.

Comey's statement was basically, she's guilty as hale but because she didn't intend to break the law, so we'll just excuse her from any charges.

Said a week before the election. If that's not "political bias", I need to know how to spell it so I can look it up in the dictionary and see what it says.

Because it must mean something other than what I thought it meant.

“So you’re saying this report was watered down because of Deep State bias and interference and not because Horowitz’s hands were tied?”

Nope. Didn’t say that.

“Comey’s statement was basically, she’s guilty as hale but because she didn’t intend to break the law, so we’ll just excuse her from any charges.”

Which was the DOJ’s reasoning to not prosecute Alberto Gonzales for mishandling secret documents during Bush 43. He didn’t intend to break the law, he was careless, sloppy, forgetful, whatever. The OIG deferred to that 2008 precedent, they cite it in the report.

“Said a week before the election. If that’s not “political bias”, I need to know how to spell it so I can look it up in the dictionary and see what it says.”

Comey wasn’t required to issue any pre-election report on Hillary’s email server, and it certainly didn’t help her when he did. It wasn’t up to him whether she would be charged. That decision belonged entirely to AG Lynch and she wasn’t going to do it.
