Wouldn’t intimidation be cause for additional scrutiny and/or charges?

Is there a previous case, ever, where the FBI felt too intimidated to do its job?

Where the FBI allows itself to be intimidated, what then? If you can intimidate the FBI you get a pass on whatever crime was committed, is that how this works?
