WASHINGTON - Nearly 2,000 minors have been separated from their families at the U.S. border over a six-week period during a crackdown on illegal entries, according to Department of Homeland Security figures obtained by The Associated Press.
The figures show that 1,995 minors were separated from 1,940 adults from April 19 through May 31. The separations were not broken down by age, and they included separations for illegal entry, immigration violations or possible criminal conduct by the adult.

Additionally, the new policy says you are not a refugee just because you come from a shithole country. You must be systematically persecuted by government for being a member of a particular class of people.
Liberals are dumb enough to believe that because they find this “heart-wrenching”, they should make a big political issue of it.
DHS should have a policy that forbids all photography to protect the identities of the children and the officers.

It’ll be painful in the beginning while the would-be illegals are testing the limits, but once everything is in place nobody will suffer because nobody will be using his children as human shields.
My advise to illegals:
“If you don’t want to be separated from your families, don’t cross OUR borders...you WILL be separated and that is YOUR fault not OURS...
You see, this is OUR COUNTRY and WE make OUR LAWS not you, you want your laws go back to YOUR OWN COUNTRY and make them YOURSELF”...

Illegals have broken the law, just like a bank robber has broken the law. When a bank robber is convicted and sent to prison, are we required to mourn their separation from their children? Perhaps we should not incarcerate people so there is no family ‘separation’.
It was Obama that started this “keep the family together” crap.
Now they’ve nearly institutionalized it.
Criminal should be separated from their children. Then when they are deported, they can be reunited.

We need a good old fashioned international incident to highlight it.
Defiance of a UN resolution, political complaints from governments of source countries etc.
We’ll probably need to run the number of “separations” up to 10,000+ for that...and tent cities in the desert. Tent cities make good TV fodder.
Just force the cameras out at least 1 mile.
