Alright, I realize this is NYC, but a tattooed musclehead working for the Education Department...how does THAT happen??? And where are they REALLY from? (I’m guessing about 3,000 miles south of NYC/s;)

The Bronx is its own special subset of NYC where mostly all defendants are found not guilty.

So it makes sense that a violent biker can be employed as a “paraprofessional” in the Education Department and get character references, from politically connected people, as a pillar of the community.

Even worse:

Nunez’s attorney told the judge that City Councilman Ritchie Torres penned a letter on his client’s behalf attesting to his good character and the charity work he does for his community in the Bronx.

No doubt his tribal tattoos are overlooked because they are a "tribal" thing you know.

Guzman’s attorney said that in addition to working for the Education Department, his client attends night classes at Lehman College.

There you go, an upstanding young man who strayed into armed robbery merely to provide charity to the community, while bettering himself as well.

If he can prove he is here illegally, I'm sure the case will be dismissed.
