Wait...this was a FEDERAL law??? Has said law ever been repealed or amended?? If not, is this not a basis to file suit against any and all state-passed registration efforts???

As I mentioned in my post #5, I think the author is referring to the Property Requisition Act of 1941. I’ve since read a bit more from that Act.

I’m no lawyer (thankfully). But IMHO the Property Requisition Act does nothing to support or strengthen the Second Amendment. It just has language that says that this particular law cannot be used to register or seize an individual’s firearms.

It does not prohibit some other law from doing so.
