Today is World Refugee Day

In marking World Refugee Day, which is observed on June 20th, the United Nations notes that on any given day thousands of families are fleeing from their homes to escape violence. The map we’re showing represents the movements of these refugees around the globe from 2000 to 2016. Each orange or red dot represents 17 refugees. The UN established World Refugee Day to increase awareness among all people that those fleeing war and oppression are not a burden, but a responsibility for all of us. It’s an occasion to demonstrate support for the millions forced to flee.

The map visualization on Bing shows a graphic animated flow of refugees as streams of light(fire?) from origin point on the globe to a destination point.

A couple things about the visualization surprised me....

Africa, for example....

“the United Nations notes that on any given day thousands of families are fleeing from their homes to escape violence.”
What the UM (United Muslims) meant was thousands of Muslims are belle their homes as part of an Islamic invasion to dominate the world.

Sorry, grammar correction:
“the United Nations notes that on any given day thousands of families are fleeing from their homes to escape violence.”
What the UM (United Muslims) meant was thousands of Muslims are leaving their homes as part of an Islamic invasion to dominate the world.

"the United Nations notes that on any given day thousands of families are fleeing from their homes to escape violence"

That statement is an indictment of the UN's failure.

Instead of resolving problems and bringing peace and reducing violence, they focus on refugees and spreading the problems to countries that don't suffer from the violence.

The UN has outlived its usefulness. Way past its “best by” date.

I guess we are to believe that it is just a coincidence that this “cisis” at our southern border is stirred up now??
