She wasn’t wearing that jacket to imply she didn’t care about the immigrants.
She was wearing it to say she doesn’t care about the opinions of her self-documented/declared enemies(the media/AKA Deep State) about her choice of clothing.
I agree. It was raining. It was a raincoat. She didn’t wear it to Texas. It was for the media and i wouldn’t have done it but I don’t blame her one bit.
If she hadn’t worn the jacket, they’d be saying hateful things about her and impugning her motives. If I were her, I feel like I’d want to get something out of it my own way too. It’s not like they’d have said any better of her, or lay off her son, if she didn’t wear it. She can’t even stay out of the limelight without having that be scrutinized for malignant meaning.
