I agree with you entirely. Did you see the descenting views on the travel ban case? They weren’t legal analysis....they were simply rhetoric and crisiticism. I wonder if the desenting judges realize they aren’t there to sit in judgment of a policy, only to judge whether said policy is legal? They truly came across as small minded legal nitwits when I read their analysis..
Look.......People can consider whether the travel ban was wise policy or not when it comes time to vote....and that includes the judges. If you don’t like the policy, vote against it next election. But, the wisdom of any policy is the last thing and SCJ should be considering when on the bench....and I mean that seriously.

Of course, in practice, the Founder's model became the basis upon which the greatest, freest, prosperous and most mighty nation could rise in the shortest amount of time. The Left's alternative model deems the shifting whims of any age should be the determinate of what the "Constitution" means. . .which, of course, renders the Constitution meaningless. . and with it our endowed rights, freedoms and most importantly, our consent as a condition for governance. Simply stated, the Left is evil and are, effectively, advocating tyranny.
Their "Constitution" erases the concept of "WE THE PEOPLE" and replaces those words with "WE THE ELITES, YOUR BETTERS." . .as I said, the Leftists are great with words

In soggy-manure’s dissent to the travel ban decision, she never once brought up a Constitutional point. It was all her “wise latina” feelings crap.
That is destructive.
Ask her how many Constitutional Amendments have been passed in the last 50 years and why so few?
You will get a blank stare from her, if that.
But the real reason is its so much easier to pack the court with corrupt judges then to actually pass amendments.
