Annapolis police will be conducting an active shooter drill at St. Mary’s School campus this morning.
The department said in a release the exercise would start at 10 a.m. at the school’s campus on Duke of Gloucester Street in the city.
The street will be closed between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. between Green Street and Compromise Street and traffic will be routed down Green Street.
The department said that nearby residents “should be aware that real life sights and sounds may be seen and heard along the periphery of the campus and a variety of emergency response vehicles will be in the area.”
