The shotgun purchase was approved by Joe Biden.

Only felonies and domestic assault will remove gun rights.
We should not encourage any expansion.

.... but was it modified to be an ASSAULT pump-action shotgun? Could he have DIY into an AR15? Liberals need the clarification. This sounds like a job for Ohio’s NBC Team!

Pump-action shotgun control? They're (virtually) illegal in Australia. Two thoughts:
1. Wait 'till someone uses one of these (Mossberg 590M w/20 round mag):
2. At Democratic Underground yesterday, someone speculated it might be a semi-auto shotgun. The responses? "Do those even exist? That's terrifying! When were they invented? Why are they legal?"

I think it’s a misdemeanor, which doesn’t prevent him from buying a gun.

Please post link. I am falling in love with that site. I just get happy watching the dumpster fire of froth and ignorance.

Probably purchased before he was convicted. I think the Sheriff is trying to hold the media off. From the stuff I read online last night his conviction was a misdemeanor so he would have still been eligible to purchase a firearm.

Listened to the reporter yesterday saying thank god a shotgun can only hold 5 shells. Mine is a Model 870 Express Synthetic Tactical 7-Round.

Legally purchased my a$$.There are no background checks in Maryland for the purchase of a rifle or shotgun.
How would the seller know about the conviction?

An evil black rifle with the thing that goes up will put 30 .223 caliber projectiles in the air with 30 pulls of the trigger. A shotgun with an eight-round capacity will put 72 .30 caliber projectiles in the air with eight pulls of the trigger. That’s something that shocks the gun prohibitionists.
To: SMARTY
Doesnt make sense. Maybe gun purchase vetting ought to take into consideration their social media presence. No background checks in Maryland for rifle/shotgun purchases.
How would any seller know about any of this?
Surely you aren't suggesting that gun stores perform background checks on their own.

In close quarters, I’ll opt for eight pulls every time.
Longer than 90’ (distance from home plate to first) go with the semi-auto rifle.

Well, judging by the first post, it should be a hoot...
I always wonder what % of gun owners have firearms.

There are no background checks in Maryland for the purchase of a rifle or shotgun. You are incorrect. There is no Maryland state background check for rifles and shotguns but federal law still requires an NCIS check. Gun shops are routinely required to do this.
This shotgun was reportedly sold by a gun shop so a background check should have been conducted.
