I think some day we'll find that she has actually been dead since about January 2017 and that her clerks have been writing her opinions and propping her up in her chair for meetings and to "listen" to oral arguments. Some day Justice Thomas is going to say to Justice Alito "Isn't it odd how she is always the first justice there and the last to leave, yet she never asks any questions or says anything?" and the whole thing will unravel from there.

My mother is less than a year younger than Justice Ginsberg, and mom can do a plank. Mom is also bat crap crazy.
RBG is just miserable she waited. She wanted “The First Woman POTUS” to replace instead of Obongo who she loved of course. It eats at her every day count on it.

If Ginsburg retires while Trump is still president, the left will meltdown even more than they have with Kennedy retiring.
Assuming that the GOP picks up a few seats in these mid term elections, the GOP will be firmly in control in the Senate until the 2020 elections. The filibuster is gone for Supreme Court nominees, so Chuck Schumer can bloviate but can’t exercise any real power to block things.
I think she wanted to retire under a President Hillary. She is determined to stick it out as long as Trump is president.
Awhile back she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I’d like to know who her doctors are & what her treatment has been. That’s a brutal DX.
