Every year one of the big TV providers—Commiecast, Dish, or DirectTV—gets in a wizzing contest with one or more channels and they go dark for a couple of days.

Then they come back on and the TV bills get higher.

Nothing to see here.

Actually, Comcast has very few of these clashes with program providers in recent years—it’s in their best interest to keep it that way. But Dish has a notorious history of getting into way too many clashes with program providers over the years—the list is a long one.
