In his column encouraging President Trump to select his nominee to the Supreme Court from among the several names he mentioned during the 2016 campaign, it appears that Jonah Goldberg omitted an important fact regarding Trumps list.
In May 2016, when Trump issued his first list, there was already a list. In fact, there was actually a judge selected by a sitting U.S. president, whose nomination was stonewalled by Senate Republicans for nearly a year and finally abandoned.

Put him on the list, interview him, don’t pick him, and then say why.

Trump should nominate Ann Coulter to a federal judgeship, just for the amusement value in the confirmation hearings.

I wonder what this learned professor has to say about Antifa and the Republican baseball game shooting?

Delusional to a T.
They forgot who won the election! Their fantasy of Garland shows how they have yet to come to terms with their loss.
If Trump nominated Garland, they wouldnt give him any credit for it.
Its fun to watch these people self-destruct.

The Dems were prepared to replace the most conservative member of the Court with a flaming liberal, but they now whine that President Trump wants to replace a Republican appointee (who was disappointingly “centrist”) with a real conservative. They will eventually cave on this one, but will go totally off the deep end if the President gets a chance to replace Granny Ginsburg.

I say do it and let the Senate Republicans reject him. They’re too squishy. This is hardball and don’t think for a minute the left wouldn’t do the same.

If Hillary had won, we would never see Republicans whine how she should have named Gorsuch.
Liberals expect a GOP President to give them what they couldnt win at the ballot box.
Their whining is entertaining to watch all the same.

Here is what I think. Obongo didn’t exactly go to the mat for Garland. I he think was convinced HRC would win and they had an agreement that he would replace Scalia. I also believe there is a good chance he had Scalia killed. The most effective Conservative SC Justice is found with a pillow over his head at a Rat donors house. No security detail, no autopsy. hmm..

I’m not seeing Trump as a Christian, really (he has publicly said he has nothing to be forgiven for), but events have convinced me that his election was divine intervention.
