I’m hoping the DNA tests that are being done will reveal the sex trafficking of children. People need to see that the children being “separated from their parents” are often not travelling with their parents: they are being sold.
If Trump makes that clear, it will have a huge impact.
The other 48% need to mow their own lawns and clean their own toilets.
Immigration has always been a top issue, but Bush League Republicans were blocking the citizens from doing anything about it.
Democrats read polls as well. Suddenly they are no longer promoting open borders, socialism and the dissolution of US law enforcement. Can’t let them hide.
Keep advocating open borders idiot Democrats.
I totally missed the economy was the 2nd top issue ... more winning !!!
Not that it makes much of a difference, but National Review is misquoting the Reuters/Ipsos poll that they cite in the article:
“However, Trumps approval on his handling of immigration remains little changed since the beginning of the year, with 52 percent of registered voters saying in an ongoing Reuters/Ipsos poll that they disapprove of the way the president is handling immigration.”
If Immigration is #1 (Border security and a reasoned plan) and the economy is #2, then Trump should have more that 52% of the support in these two areas.
I agree that these two are BIG issues, the polling error is in Trump’s support on these which I would guess would be closer to 60%, not 52% - which is devastating to Dems.
Blue. Wave. ‘bye ‘bye.
So, it appears that when the media decided to stage “Kids at the Border week”, and highlight that issue to the exclusion of all other news that week, that their efforts to damage Trump failed.
I heard Michael Medved about a week ago hysterically saying that the gop shouldn’t even mention immigration during the campaign, because everyone supports the dems when it comes to that issue. I guess he doesn’t realize that Trump won the election largely on the immigration issue.
Actually, I think the National Review has that wrong on Trump’s approval on immigration in this poll being 52%.
I’ve looked at a few other sites covering this story, and it’s 52% disapproval of the way he’s handling immigration.
Of course, the MSM, acting as part of the DNC, is distorting immigration issues and who can say if the poll might be skewed as they often have been, but as to what’s being reported here, I do believe it should be disapproval is at 52%.
Most of us hang up as soon as the caller says Rooters/something. Series.
Pointless poll. Who knows what the issue will be come November.
