Many moons ago, my wife and I moved from Ohio to LA and eventually found an apt in Hollywood near Sunset.
I still recall one day being in Tower Records on Sunset and Elton John walked in and bought what looked like a gazillion LPs. Everyone recognized him but just treated him like any other customer there that day. It was cool for a couple of kids from Dayton.
