Regardless of who is nominated, Susan Collins and/or Lisa Murkowski will shoot it down, because of the perceived notion that Roe v. Wade must be protected at all costs. And every one of these nominees MIGHT be the one to overturn that badly misguided version of case law, in their eyes.

I’m rather underwhelmed by that entire group of 7 or so finalists. I haven’t counted but have read a lot of FR scotus threads and i think i’ve seen Barrett’s name most positively mentioned. I think the pick will be Kavanaugh.
