If so, then he needs to respond something like this: Why are practicing Roman Catholics subjected to a religious test but secular ones get a pass?
That line would work well for any other religion, but work especially well for Roman Catholics for two reasons: (a)there are so many of them and (b)they are the major swing voting constituency.
Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Iran Yemen, Syria and Iraq
are all highly dysfunctional.
They account for maybe 10% of the population of mainly Muslim countries.

“It must be stated at the outset and with clarity that Roe `s essential holding, the holding we reaffirm, has three parts. First is a recognition of the right of the woman to choose to have an abortion before viability and to obtain it without undue interference from the State. Before viability, the State’s interests are not strong enough to support a prohibition of abortion or the imposition of a substantial obstacle to the woman’s effective right to elect the procedure. Second is a confirmation of the State’s power to restrict abortions after fetal viability, if the law contains exceptions for pregnancies which endanger the woman’s life or health. And third is the principle that the State has legitimate interests from the outset of the pregnancy in protecting the health of the woman and the life of the fetus that may become a child. These principles do not contradict one another; and we adhere to each.”

I think that’s settled law, Senators. Am I right?
No point supporting Kavanaugh, then ... he's a gutless cuck.
Or perhaps you'd like to revise and extend your comments?
“Viability, as the word has been used in United States constitutional law since Roe v. Wade, is the potential of the fetus to survive outside the uterus after birth, natural or induced, when supported by up-to-date medicine.”

We should have imposed a religious test on Obummer after the “57 states” Freudian slip.
When it comes time for the televised hearings, Judge Kavanaugh should respond with:
The Supreme Court doesn’t hold regular sessions on Saturday and Sunday , and what I do legally on my “off-days” is my personal business. I refer you to the sayings of a major historical figure: “Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and unto God the things that are God’s”.
How associate judges of the Supreme Court rule on issues connected to the constitution is much more important than a person’s religion.
Politics and religion are not prerequisites of a Supreme Court associate justice.
