Strzok then replied: Maam, I can tell youYour premise, though, that it makes us susceptible to blackmail: I never, never could have been blackmailed or coerced by the nature of that relationship. That is notthe nature of my patriotism and the nature of what I believe in this country, you could not ever, nobody could have made that-—
I represent people who have lost or been denied their security clearances. If any client of mine said that in his Response to SOR or at the hearing, I’d tell him he may as well apply at Mickey D’s, ‘cause his clearance is GONE. Why isn’t Strzok’s?
Absolutely! I was flabbergasted when he came off with that and I’m no legal authority to say the least.
For him to say that before a joint congressional hearing tells me he has definite mental problems.
His security clearance should already be long gone.
1. Nothing i have heard so far preculdes strzok from jacing a polygamous relationship or an open marriage with his wife. Presuming either of these i would understand no basis for blackmail. ???
2. If what you state is true then imho approx. 99% of dc federal employees who have security clearances would lose them. full disclosure, i do not live in dc and i do not portray a dc federal employee on tv.
In summary with all due respect my sense is that you may be correct jn somenway but i just cannot correlate your statement with reality as i perceive it (admittedly from a far distance lol).
Great post, great info. Im glad sometimes its done the way it is supposed to be.
