> The corrupt agents give the other 5% a bad name.

I agree. The longer this goes, and the worse it looks, the less likely I am to give a pass to the field agents and lawyers.

New FBI and DOJ leadership does not seem to have changed their attitude on things like oversight and honesty when requesting warrants. If field agents aren’t demanding changes, I assume they are also railroading targets based on their personal bias. At this point those demands need to become public (if they’ve been trying in private) or agents need to be finding other jobs. If they continue to work for a corrupt organization that believes it’s ok to skirt the constitution then they are as corrupt as leadership in my mind.

I haven’t seen any proposals for preventing the type of things that went on in 2016. At the very least I’d expect some mid-level FBI personell to present recommendations to congress to stop Trump’s FBI and DOJ leaders from guaranteeing his victory in 2020 and Pence in 2024. From what I can tell EVERYONE wants the authority and flexibility to do whatever they think is needed. And they want us to trust them to use their powers “for good” (and eventually “for good” will mean stopping another candidate who is a danger in their minds).

Ethics and adherence to rules/laws filters from the top down. I’ve worked at many fortune 100 companies where attitude in the cubes mirrors attitude of the executives - ethics, customer service, etc. I’ve worked through leadership changes at medium size businesses and seen the entire company change when leadership changes (some of it though people leaving). I’ve complained all the way up to meeting the CEO then quit jobs because of ethical differences. I’ve stayed at a job years longer than I planned because I was so impressed with leadership.

"Teddy Roosevelt would have fired the lot a long time ago."

Teddy was president while the "spoils system" was still around. Nowadays, with "civil service" laws in place, it is much more difficult to fire a government employee.

AS much as I want all of that to happen, There will be political costs. I do not want to jeopardize Trump’s second term.

We are winning, not on all fronts, but overall winning. A second term is essential to continue winning.

If he declassifies DoJ/FBI files the media and Dems will scream about “obstruction” and interfering with Mueller’s probe.

Re: “If he declassifies DoJ/FBI files the media and Dems will scream about “obstruction” and interfering with Mueller’s probe.”

Easily solved.

Issue full pardons for anyone implicated in the documents.

No prosecution? No obstruction.

It is obvious that no evidence exists to incriminate Trump or the Trump campaign.

It is also obvious that no Democrats can be convicted in Washington D.C. or New York City, which is where all the Clinton and Deep State crimes took place.

The only way that the voting public can understand the depth of political corruption at DOJ and FBI is to release every document that shows it happening.

And Trump is the only guy who can make that happen.

I have watched, amazed time and time again, as President Trump has used his own approach and has absolutely skewered his opposition.

But you prefer your own timing and ham handed political approach.

I suggest you think about letting Trump determine when he thinks the time is right, unless you honestly think you know more about everything that is going on than he does.

POTUS needs to get back to WDC ASAP and start firing people!

Start with Sessions and Rosenstein.

And then go down the list!

Re: “You honestly want him to pardon Clinton, Strzok, et alia?!?”

Mort, 96% of the jury pool in Washington D.C. voted AGAINST Donald Trump.

Mix in overwhelming pro-Democrat news coverage.

Do you honestly believe that a Democrat can be convicted of any politically related crime in New York or D.C.?

The only way that we will ever see any original documents is if Trump pardons the Democrats and orders every document to be publicly released.

Re: “Unless you honestly think you know more about everything that is going on than he does.”

Yes, I do think that.

And I respectfully decline your invitation to join the Donald Trump Personality Cult.

This Russia thing has been eating away at Trump's presidency since his first day in office.

And Trump has bungled every opportunity to end this Legal Assassination plot.

Trump could have fired Sessions 60 seconds after Sessions recused himself. Instead, Trump did nothing.

Trump could have appointed a reliable Conservative as Deputy A.G. Instead, Trump nominated Rod Rosenstein, who was an Obama U.S. Attorney for eight years, and who was the same guy who made the Clinton Uranium scandal disappear.

After retaining - then firing - Obama’s FBI Director James Comey, Trump interviewed Robert Mueller to replace Comey. Mueller was Obama’s FBI Director for five years, and eventually, Rosenstein would appoint Mueller as Special Prosecutor!

Michael Horowitz was Obama’s DOJ Inspector General. Trump retained him.

Trump refused to press for a Special Prosecutor on the Clinton scandals. Instead, Trump authorized Sessions to select a U.S. Attorney to be a “special assistant” to I.G. Horowitz. Sessions selected the U.S. Attorney from Utah - who was an Obama appointee!

Andrew McCabe was Obama’s Deputy Director of the FBI for two years. Trump retained him, and appointed McCabe as temporary Director for three months! McCabe would later be fired for unauthorized press leaks and lying to the I.G.

Oh, and just for good measure...

Trump's current Chief of Staff is General John Kelly, who got his last two stars from Obama!

When it comes to the Deep State Russia scandal, Trump is totally incompetent.

Rosenstein really knows how to point his finger when he speaks, and move fast in a room, he can probably sing and dance too.

I heard Matt Gaetz say that Page was a much better witness than Strzok. Even though she had some answers that were untrue, she was respectful, and had none of Strzok’s arrogance. If so, maybe it’s possible that she’ll flip and become an asset for “truth, justice, and the American way”.

As for the DOJ not notifying Page, I don’t buy that story. Maybe for a while, but after she left DOJ employment a few / couple months ago she would’ve been contacted directly. Someone is lying.

Maybe that's the plan in its entirety. Perhaps it's his intention to let this get so out of control, that it forces the entire nation to come to grips with the enormity of these historic scandals, and to personally get involved in draining the swamp.

Welcome to the storm, FRiend. President Trump will pull the trigger when the time is right. But until "the entire nation comes to grips with the enormity of these historic scandals" as you said, the president will not have the popular support to do all that must be done. I believe that day is coming soon.

Welcome to the storm, FRiend. President Trump will pull the trigger when the time is right.

He’s called Hillary criminal for over 2.5 years. He could have taken Comey’s report and got her indicted 16 months ago.

May I ask, when will the time be right?

If you think this present course is slow, rest assured that a "Special Prosecutor" would be comparatively glacial. Special counsels are where investigations go to die.

Look again at the genius of Sessions's assignment of USA Huber to work with DOJ IG Horowitz. We know that Huber has been on the job since last fall and has at least one grand jury hearing evidence. How long would it take for a special counsel to hire and bring up to speed a team of what, 20 people? The DOJ IG already has a staff of 470 investigators. And why a USA from Utah -- a literate, lily white state where drinking caffeine is a sin? Would you rather prosecute the swamp creatures before a District of Columbia trial jury?

Be patient. President Trump knows what he's doing.
