...and retweets link to DOJ Indictment of 12 Russians

Presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway's husband isn't pulling any punches when it comes to his wife's boss.

George Conway - a longtime critic of Donald Trump - retweeted a Politico story with the headline 'European leaders do not think Trump is a stable genius' and wrote: 'What could possibly make them think that.'

Over the next few hours on Friday afternoon the attorney shared several tweets about the Department of Justice's indictment of 12 Russians for campaign hacking in the 2016 presidential election.

Meanwhile Kellyanne kept to her usual programming, retweeting support for Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

The Politico article retweeted by George referenced Trump's comment calling himself a 'very stable genius' after attending the NATO summit in Brussels this week.

On Friday afternoon while Trump was meeting with the Queen, the DOJ released its indictment of 12 Russians who played a role in hacking the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton's campaign during the 2016 election.

The president responded on Twitter, blasting the 'Deep State' and blaming President Obama for efforts the authorities say were meant to muddy his own rival Clinton.

George Conway shared a tweet in response to the president's comments in which journalist Josh Kraushaar wrote: 'Rod Rosenstein: "When we confront foreign interference in our elections, we must not address the issue as Republicans or Democrats, but instead as patriotic Americans."'

George is a high-profile lawyer who was once on the shortlist for US solicitor general in the Trump administration - but it's become clear that he would not have been a good fit given his negative opinions of the president.

Back in May he took another shot at Trump regarding the $130,000 that Trump's former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, paid to porn star Stormy Daniels in exchange for her silence.

The 54-year-old suggested that the payment was in violation of the Federal Election Commission's rules, tweeting a screenshot from the agency's website that explained funding stipulations.

Can you imagine if a guy worked in a high position in a corporation and his wife publicly trashed the CEO all the time? Do you think that would go over? It doesn't even have to be a corporation; it could just be a normal business. The stakes are much higher here. His wife works for the President of the United States, and he is on social media bashing him - helping the President's opponents and helping to undermine the man his wife works for. She has to go out and defend him in the press and takes a beating for it, and her husband is, in effect, aiding in that. The media has of course taken notice. There was a testy exchange with Dana Bash on CNN when she asked about it on the air, and multiple articles (including this one) have been written on it.

Obviously I can't speculate too much, but if my spouse was doing that, I would not be happy. It would cause tension. Perhaps she is okay with him having a separate opinion openly, but I don't know. What can the conversations at the dinner table be like? I honestly think he'd be okay with him getting impeached.

For example, he retweeted a CNN analyst and former Obama employee:

Brava @AshaRangappa_: “Suggesting Kavanaugh recuse ... validates [the] belief that public servants entrusted with upholding the rule of law are driven by politics .... Trump may [think so but we] who believe that our justice system is capable of acting independently should not.”

He RTed Lawrence O'Donnell who trashed Dershowitz for saying the Supreme Court could overturn an impeachment of Trump:

The Courts have no role in impeachment. None. Dershowitz has lost his legal mind.

I mean, take a look at his Twitter feed. It's full of RTs pro-Mueller investigation, negative articles on Trump, and people who hate him like Bill Kristol and Maggie Haberman. Look at this one from Bill Kristol:

I remember, 20 years ago, how disappointed we conservatives were when liberals excused Bill Clinton’s behavior because they agreed with his policies. I recall, 40 years ago, how astonished we conservatives were when liberals supported Ted Kennedy. We thought that was ridiculous.

Here's his feed:

I don't know how Kellyanne deals with this. I mean, it's one thing if you have a relative that doesn't like the President, but someone you live with like your spouse? It has to be very difficult for her...unless she secretly agrees with him (a theory posited by a pro-Trump former campaign worker on Twitter). I hope not. Her actions don't indicate that, and I've always liked her and trusted her more than most in Trump's circle as someone that would be loyal to him.

I just see this as back-stabbing, of the president, the party, and of Kellyanne, and of Kellyanne’s boss. I don’t like it at all.

And, frankly, if Kellyanne is tolerating it, then maybe I have doubts about her.

So, except for a convenient source for anti-Trump propaganda for our beloved press, who gives a rat’s ass WHAT Kellyanne Conway’s husband thinks of ANYTHING?

Gosh. Is Sarah Sanders’ husband ever quoted? How about Mike Pence’s second cousin (once removed)?

Do these people have ANY idea how much fury they’re building up in this country (on both sides) with this endless propaganda? Or is that their intent?

I agree. Even if he holds a different political opinion - her husband should STFU and she should TELL him to STFU - that he’s embarrassing her (and if he was any kind of husband he would KNOW that and wouldn’t be making these infantile little rants in the first place).

I don’t like it. He doesn’t have to like Trump, but his wife works for him, and him enabling the same people that bash the President and his wife for defending the President doesn’t sit right with me.

Exactly. Her hubby has always hated Trump. I’ve wondered if she was/is a leaker.

The “media” NEVER reported on relatives from the Obama regime. I am sure there were some that did not approve of Obama policies, but noooooooooo, you never heard the media report on it.

It is so obvious that the media has a left wing bias. They are made up of nearly all democrats.

Well, don't forget before joining the Trump campaign, Conway endorsed Ted Cruz for president and also chaired a pro-Cruz PAC called Keep the Promise 1. During that time, Conway was critical of Trump, at one point calling him “fairly unpresidential” and a host of other unpleasant things:

Conway: Trump “Can Whine And Complain” By Saying “The System Is Rigged,” But “There’s No Place In Politics For Accusing Folks Of Using Gestapo Tactics.”

Conway: Trump “Says He's For The Little Guy But He's Actually Built A Lot Of His Businesses On The Backs Of The Little Guy.”

There are a lot of other things she has said, but she has gotten a pass here and has been a net positive for the President, but I suspect what she REALLY thinks aligns with her husband. Just a guess.

Agree; the context of this is that this boob is a partner with a big time corporate law firm. I assure you that 90 percent of his partners are left liberals, except when it comes to their taxes. He wants to kiss up to them and establish his bona fides but he comes across as a first class jerk, so he also fits in with his partners.

I’m looking further, and I see RTs from a liberal reporter about Cohen flipping, RTs about North Korea building their nuke program, the debt under Trump, etc. Now these are things that he is posting to take digs at Trump. The Tweets that he posts himself rather than RTs are getting RTs and comments from people who are members of the “The Resistance” who trash the President and don’t like his wife for working for him.

Anyone who would think that the “genius” remark was anything more than tongue in cheek, needs help. When he said it I thought, he is tempting all the whiners to clutch pearls and run about claiming he is no such thing.

Kellyanne has a problem. And she is one of the President’s strongest allies.

I doubt there were any spouses from someone as high up in the Obama regime openly trashing Obama.

I actually think Daniels and George are part of a distraction act to take us past the elections when finally the hammer will drop with overwhelming force.

My reasoning is based on salient amalgamated by Thomas Wiktor, Stealth Jeff, and Imperetor Rex...not posted here, elsewhere.

PDJT has had over a year to fire Sessions. Either PDJT is an idiot or he is a stable genius. He cannot be both. Idiots do not keep on board those who do not perform. PDJT, when he was just, “the Donald” , fired people for less.

Like Sun Tsu said, when you act, do I it like a lightening bolt.

It will be after November and it will be like whiplash+.

I trust PDJT.
