yep, great aunt Rose, named after her mama Rose, who, btw, was not informed by her husband Joe when the procedure was done on their quite lovely 23 year old daughter, leaving her permanantly incapacitated...she was institutionalized in the Midwest for the rest of hr life, passing away in 2005 at the age of 86...
at Rosemary’s birth, a doctor was not present, for whatever reason, and the attending nurse ordered her mother to keep her legs closed, forcing the baby’s head to stay in the canal for some hours, resulting in a critical loss of oxygen...very sad story...
