New Mexico is such a weird state. I loved the climate and most of the people, but it was a mess as far as politics. Either way, Democrats never stay moderate. I hope economics drive people to the right, even if they are Richardson Republicans.

Yep. I was born there, raised there, went to college there. But could not get a job in my degree field, so I left for greener pastures.
I haven’t looked back. I still visit, but I don’t look to try to move back. Still no jobs in my field, at least that pay enough to live in a decent life style. And, the state has gone entirely Leftist in the last two decades or so...
