NATO still serves a purpose, but casually extending its life-or-death guarantee to anyone who wants it is strategically foolish. I can also see why it might appear as encroachment to the Russians, who are paranoid with some historical cause.

Any one who has lost a family member or friend to brain cancer, especially an aggressive type of cancer ...knows that a year after diagnose they are not carrying on serious Government conversion ..and at 82 plus years old at that...
I have lost all respect of his family and have not had respect for him for tens of years..if I ever did..
