Mueller Reportedly subpoenas Spitzer's Madam
New York Post ^ | July 20, 2018 | Bob Fredericks

Special counsel Robert Mueller has subpoenaed Kristin Davis — the notorious hooker booker for ex-Gov. Eliot Spitzer who also has close ties to President Trump’s crony Roger Stone — as part of his investigation into Russian election interference, a new report said Friday.

Sources familiar with the matter told the celebrity gossip website TMZ that Davis’ lawyer was negotiating the scope of the subpoena with Mueller’s team...

An individual believed to be Stone was mentioned in Mueller’s indictments last week of 12 Russian spooks who allegedly meddled in the 2016 presidential election...

Mueller is scrutinizing Stone over his contacts with the website Guccifer 2.0, which was created by the Russians, who used it to disseminate emails and other documents hacked from the Democratic Party’s and Hillary Clinton’s computers...

If you dropped your bias and paid attention, you would see that the Congressional hearings are introducing to the record people and evidence that the administration cannot prior to the trials.

The Executive and the Legislative branches controlled by Republicans are presenting all the damning facts on the record.

The acts are in concert, not in division

I don’t. I think he made a mistake. A very, very big mistake. Why do you think he’s incapable of mistakes?

I agree, Trump is smart and crafty, but not infallible.

I appreciate the political box he is in, but he hasn’t fired enough people in my opinion. This sends the wrong message to those who would subvert him. It only encourages them.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure. - Jefferson

I'm not calling for it. Just pointing out that this "4th branch of government" that Rosenstein, Comey, Mueller and others have built is probably the type of thing Jefferson had in mind. They feel superior to the other 3 branches and unaccountable to the people. At this point, congress seems to agree that there are no checks and branches that can be used to limit Mueller's branch of government. And that a major problem the founders were trying to protect against.

Trump isn’t stupid. He’s both very smart and very cunning. He knows a lot about swamp creatures from their constant begging for money from him, and he knows in broad strokes what needs to be done.

What he doesn’t have is helpers who dwell in the swamp. And that’s a big, big problem. He’s done so much more than any of us could have done, placed in his position, but he’s still an AAU player starting at center for the Lakers.

The people he needs to help him the most - Mike Pence, I’m talking to you - and you too, Ryan, McConnell and others - are hanging back either hoping he fails, expecting failure and trying to stay outside of the blast radius, or actively working for failure. This is not a viable situation.

The solution is a much bigger President’s Party (like the King’s Party in the Commons before the modern system) after January. That’s not Trump’s job, that’s our job.

Oh, I’m paying plenty of attention. You didn’t mention that there are still thousands (probably hundreds of thousands) of email and documents that the congress has STILL not seen. And may never see. Nor did you mention either that it was Judicial Watch, not the pathetic congress, that has exposed much of the damaging revelations. They have done what the congress should have done, but didn’t have the courage to do.

Nunes and Goodlatte do deserve a lot of credit for their persistence in the face of constant stonewalling and endless obstruction by the DOJ and FBI. Unfortunately, you can’t same the same about most of their colleagues.

“beyond what you learned riding the groupthink band wagon.”

Wrong again.

I simply have noticed that almost every single Cabinet Officer in this Administration is under almost constant fire from the Left except one.

And that one is Jefferson Beauregard Sessions.

Now why would that be?

Face it. President Trump is human and he makes mistakes just like everyone else does. It has nothing to do with his inate intelligence. Smart people can and do make mistakes.

Some of those mistakes are more consequential than others. In this particular case the mistake has had terrible consequences for some decent people like General Flynn.

After the mid terms Sessions needs to go. There’s no 8-D chess going on. There is no Rube Goldberg trap set that’s going to spring. There is no secret Grand Jury in Utah that’s going to indict anyone from the Obama Administration for anything.

At this point the best that President Trump can do is get the facts out there as widely disseminated as possible and let the voters decide.

I know you don’t like it. I don’t like it either.

But it’s the way things are.

Now go enjoy your day.

L

this “4th branch of government”

**************

Excellent comments! You hit the nail on the head.

This 4th branch clearly does exist and it is run by unelected, unaccountable, and uncontrollable bureaucrats. It is a serious threat to the Republic in my opinion.

Jefferson and the other Founding Fathers must be rolling over in their graves.

What mule-face is doing is the exact definition of a witch hunt. It's a disgusting mockery of our justice system. I will never trust our federal law enforcement again after mule-face, rosenweasel and sessions pissed all over it. The real criminals walk free while they try to frame our president. They are committing treason.
