At Helsinki, Trump Undermined Our Power-Abusing Intelligence Agencies, Not America
The Federalist ^ | July 20, 2018 | Willis Krumholz

During President Trump’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Associated Press reporter Jonathan Lemire asked him about Russian interference in the 2016 election. Trump — as he has done many times before — responded with an answer that cast doubt on the U.S. intelligence agencies’ assessment of massive Russian election-interference. (Snip)

Naturally, all hell broke loose in America’s elite political and media circles. Tom Nichols, a sometime Federalist contributor, said Trump threatened the very safety of America in saying he doubted his intelligence agencies. A group of liberal law professors, who naturally have an affinity toward bending the law to achieve their desired outcomes, accused Trump of committing treason. Treason is a crime punishable by execution.

As the media hysteria runs out of steam, cooler heads are making assessments of the events of Helsinki. The bottom line is that Trump wins on all fronts: Foreign Policy, Counter Deep State, the Resistance, and most importantly, the upcoming midterm elections. Trump's gaffs are followed by a total overplay by his enemies and they end up looking like fools. This has been a pattern that ends with Advantage Trump.

All Hell Breaks Loose each and every week with the Anti-American, Anti-Trump Enemy Media.

They need to keep getting hysterical each week...up through November 6, 2018. :)

Media hysteria over Helsinki is fagging out, seen now as limp as a homo's wrist.

Cooler heads are assessing the events. The bottom line is that Trump wins on all fronts:

The disgusting display of hyper-ventilation by his enemies ends with Advantage Trump.

We need to revoke the 1947 National Security Act.

In a very loose analogy, the Intelligence Community is like a wife beater that is shocked when the wife that they have been attacking for years didn’t have the perfect response when asked a question about them. Let left is getting more and more insane every day.

This article is a bit closer to what needs to be put out there.

It needs to strongly indicate that the intelligence agencies serve at the pleasure of the President, not vice versa. Policies need to change to make sure that these intelligence agencies DO serve as subordinate to the President, and are fully answerable to Congress, as well as to the public when ever possible.

Drain the swamp!!! Reign in the crocadiles!

Unelected political actors embedded in the federal bureaucracy and acting unlawfully, along with their sponsors and enablers, are the only real enemy the American people have right now.

One can point to terrorists... but let’s face it, these same culprits are responsible for opening the door to them, and have a long history of funding and supporting them in direct opposition to the will and well-being of the American people. Same goes for illegal aliens - the same culprits open the door to them and protect them against our laws.

When it comes to hostility from foreign nations, it appears that their problems are largely caused by the same culprits, again, and that they are not so much anti-US but anti-what has been done by these criminals unlawfully abusing the authority of the US.

Everything traces back to these criminal cabals embedded in our government. They must be rooted out completely and destroyed utterly.

Its a bit funny that Trump is treasonous for questioning the CIA but the democrats can advocate for the dissolution of the the ICE agency. Irony is the favorite past time of the democrats.

I'm sure that we count on them to do exactly that. If they were rational, they would have stopped this nonsense months ago and would have come up with a new plan to win elections.

We have the Hatch Act to keep the bureaucrats out of politics, but the Democrats decided that an unholy alliance among the Democrat Party, the Unions, and the Civil Service would work better for them and they ignored the Hatch Act. The Republicans, for reasons that I can’t understand, decided to do nothing about this.

We can start putting the Genie back in the bottle by forbidding any political appointee from joining Civil Service until 8 years after their political appointment expires. This rule also apply to the Senior Executive Service.

Funny that the same people who are upset at Trump going after our Intelligence community, are the very same ones who applauded Ike pointing out the “Military-Industrial Complex.”

Everything that they say and do from philosophy, policy, beliefs, morals, and integrity is malleable, fistfuls of clay that can be changed and shaped in every way required to achieve and keep power.

In most countries, a failed coup gets people shot. These people should just shut up and be glad they live in America.

Where have all the leftist truthers gone ? One day a leftist might wake up and say, dang we held the exact opposite position a couple years ago. Could it be that they were being played by the MSM and their glorious political leaders ? Oh look, Trump miss spelled something on his Twitter account again.
