Rising seas, vanishing water resources, expanded deserts and disappearing species all have been blamed on global warming.
Now its to blame for more suicides, says a new report.
The Guardian of London reported a study published in the journal Nature Climate Change found warming could be as significant a cause as economic recessions, which are known to increase self-harm.
The links between mental health and global warming have not been widely researched but the new work analyzed temperature and suicides across the U.S. and Mexico in recent decades. It found that the rate of suicide rose by 0.7 percent in the U.S. and by 2.1 percent in Mexico when the average monthly temperature rose by 1 C, the paper said.

So, basically there should be ZERO suicides? Since the "hole" agw hoax is just that. But, if you true believers feel it's in your and gaia's best interests, go ahead. Take yourselves out of the equation. The rest of us have work to do.

Maybe people are dying of cognitive dissonance?

The BELIEF in what the “climate change” alarmists say is responsible for many kinds of mental health issues.
That BELIEF, not “climate change” is the cause.

Thought the left would be happy to hear this. Don’t they want fewer people on the planet?

You’d think cognitive dissonance would wake people up. It’s the true believers that are offing themselves, and I blame the media. They have blood on their hands from their lies.

I think it's the other way around. Suicides cause global warming. Where's my grant money?

You are definitely on to something.
Nonstop scaring people about the future of our planet, along with heavy scoldings about how we humans are causing it (leading to feelings of hopelessness and guilt) are pushing the fragile ones over the edge.
If the effect is real, then the cause is man-made fear mongering and guilt shaming.

Not dying of cognitive dissonance.. Killing themselves over it. They were never allowed to fail as kids. Never learned to cope with small problems as kids. now their problems are bigger than “ they left their teddy bear at home” or mom said “ no “ to oreos at the store. Some folks really can't handle adulthood because they had poor parenting.
Cognitive dissonance Is very real and very hard to deal with. Never trumpers are hard wired, maybe we should just bring back eletro shock therapy.. But then again if the left ever got into power they would surely use it on anyone who didn't toe the line with their belief system.

I guess the horrible rise of the Drug Cartel wars in Mexico, and the great recession in the U.S. over the last decade had no effect compared to a small rise in temperature?
