I think that is extremely likely. It’s also why they throw such a fit over tariffs (it sure isn’t the cost to American consumers, otherwise they could fix that today by lowering taxes).

You always have to ask...just how did all these Congressmen and Senators become multi-millionaires? Maybe it’s the same way Hillary raised all that foreign money...the American political class are all birds of a feather.

Think you are right. Ignore China threat and try to puff up a new Cold War. A new Cold War would be a huge gusher of dollars for the defense consultancy, service contractors, think tank whores and a whole army of Beltway crapweasels.
