Schumer and his people are not seeking all these documents to evaluate the qualifications of judge Kavanaugh. They are going to vote no anyway, no matter how many documents they received.
I served with Ted Kennedy. I knew Ted Kennedy. Ted Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you’re no Ted Kennedy.

I interpret this move slightly different. More of a Schumer knows that they cant find any dirt via the normal investigation and is now desperate to find something, anything in an attempt to derail the nomination.

The Democrats have absolutely NO clue how more and more Dems who “just vote Democrat because my daddy and granddaddy did” are realizing what complete slime Democrats like Schumer really are, and what their party has become.

Dear Senator Schumer ... the Senate respectfully refers you to Mr. Rosenstein for the accepted procedure for accurate an timely document delivery.
Much of this is an effort to stall the confirmation hearing past the November midterm election.
