Of course I still remember the “War Surplus” German Anti-Tank Rifle that you could purchase from an Ad in the back of a Magazine (Boy’s Life?) when I was a Kid.
Including the Magazine and Ammunition it was $179.00, a little pricey for the time. Another FReeper Posted a copy of the original Ad here a while back.

That would be the Swedish Lahti???, and I remember them at $79 and some change (mail order) from Shooter's Den in Alexandria, VA. Back in the 1950s and early 60s (Pre Kennedy assassination),
