Seriously, "smearing" pedophiles? How can you (further) discredit or embarrass someone doing something so disgusting and illegal in the first place? What, does this person feel even a modicum of sympathy for pedophiles? Eff that, they deserve whatever they get and more. Smear them? They're lucky they're not $%@!<% shot on sight.
Much like many inner city residents will defend the criminals amongst them, Hollywood execs have been screwing underage minors for so long now that they've forgotten it's illegal. It's that "everybody does it" behavior and it is so commonplace that they get defensive when called out about it.
Look at Roman Polanski. They act as if were parking tickets that has him banished.
