No. PRC stood on Japan’s side during 1970s-1980s, but stopped doing that since Sino-Russo relationship improved in 1990s.

Russophobe nuts have to blame it on America.

America government begged USSR to declare the war on the Empire of Japan. So Red Army occupied the four Islands in 1945.

Interesting. Russophobe nuts are supposed to know Koreans’stance.

North Korea supports Russia, South Korea has no way to support Japan.

Possession is 9/10 of the law.

Unless someone is going to physically evict Russia (which ain’t happening) Putin is going to stage warplanes there.

What part of the Pacific isn't claimed by the PRC?

About twice a year “protesters” from Hong Kong and the mainland try to land on those island to reclaim them for China.

I wouldn’t be surprised that Russia and Japan reach an agreement that we may actually get joint ownership of the disputed islands. And it will allow Japanese fishermen to be based in the disputed islands, too.

That’s a new one. I cannot find anywhere that Red China claims the Kurile islands along with Japan and Russia. Can you cite a source for that?

You are confusing two different disputes. You are thinking of the Senkaku islands far south of Japan, towards Taiwan. That is where China claims and the protesters land. This dispute is referring to the Kurile islands, north of Hokkaido (northernmost main island) that Russia took at the end of WWII.

Two different disputes.

“South Korea has no way to support Japan.”

Given their long acrimonious history, you won’t see SK doing much standing up for Japan. Lot’s of raw feelings there just barely below the surface.

The call them something else.

The South China Morning Post does not let Google access its archives. This is the best I can do.

Those islands (located in east China Sea) are not the part of the Northern territories dispute between Russia-Japan.

True.
And there’s islands dispute between Koreas(N&S) and Japan.

It’s laughable, Russophobe nuts try to use Northern territories dispute to spead Russia scare.

They knew nothing about the deal between America and USSR in Yalta Conference? Or they would have impeached FDR for “Russia collusion”. How dare FDR betrayed the great Empire of Japan.
