WOW, they had some bad floods a couple of years ago, I believe they cancelled the PGA Tour event at the Greenbrier due to flooding.
The Greenbriar is in West Virginia and Lynchburg VA is 2 hours and the Shenandoah Mountains SE of The Greenbriar. Both hilly country and water can move very quickly.
