I can’t remember where I saw the article suggesting that the White House Press Briefing should be ended, but I heartily agree with it. It no longer has anything to do with informing the public, and is now just a forum for insecure White House pool reporters to preen and pretend that they are somehow bravely “speaking truth to power.” It serves no legitimate purpose.
