That is exactly why they do it there. Very little pushback.
If you’re a leftist/communist/fascist (but I repeat myself), Portland is a good choice for your protest. Because you know that the mayor and the police won’t just be neutral. They’ll be on your side.
On the other hand, if you’re a conservative, protesting in Portland is rather gutsy.
The conservatives better be prepared to defend themselves against the threat of imminent death by Antifa terrorists. And the conservatives better not expect to be defended by the Portland mayor, city council, and police, who are on the side of the Antifa.
Well, they sorta are. The only Nazis I know of are in the DHHS, and the KKK, Black Pathers, skinheads and Aryan Nation...maybe LaRaza....all of them are RAT control freaks.
In German, "Nazi" is short for national (not-see-oh-nal) and it's the short abbreviation for The National Socialist Worker's Party....socialists.
Now while some RINOs may have socialist tendencies, they are still not goose-stepping fascist authoritarian control-freaks. There is no way small government, freedom-loving, Constitutional conservatives could honestly be considered any of those things.
