Be honest. Are you really surprised that the New York Times has stood by its decision to hire Sarah Jeong as an editorial board member even after it was revealed she spent years on social media making openly racist and sexist remarks about white men? You may be outraged, sure. But surprised?
To paraphrase a well-known political figure, Ms. Jeong could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot a white person without losing the support of liberals. It’s a safe bet she was tapped by the Times because of these racial prejudices, not despite them. Editorial board members are hired to help formulate and express the official position of a newspaper. Ms. Jeong is being hired to speak for the Times, and they like where she’s coming from.
The Grey Lady attacks President Trump as a racist and sexist on a near-daily basis, and columnists like Charles Blow write about little else. So is it hypocritical for the paper to hire and defend a new editorial board member who has made no secret of her own biases? Of course it is, but that’s considered beside the point by people who share Ms. Jeong’s worldview.
The liberals who control most major media outlets specialize in applying different standards to different groups. Like the Times, Twitter had no problem with Ms. Jeong’s repugnant observations. Scores of tweets that included offensive phrases—“#cancelwhitepeople”; “are White people genetically disposed to burn faster in the sun?”; “White people have stopped breeding. you’ll all go extinct soon. that was my plan all along”—didn’t faze Jack Dorsey’s content monitors. But when conservative activist Candace Owens decided last weekend to reproduce Ms. Jeong’s posts and replace “white” with “black” or “Jewish,” Twitter temporarily suspended her account.

Summarizing, if Leftists didn’t have double standards they would have no standards at all.
To be perfectly honest jokes about white people don’t bother me.
Sometimes they are funny and or half true.
But this is not what is going on in the media.
It’s not funny.
And its not open dialog or conversation either.
But then what else does anyone expect from the propagandist American hating lecturing control freak media?
No.
Still racism.

Liberals only use standards to attack others, never do they apply them to themselves. Indeed the definition of being liberal is freedom from standards.
It’s really just more of the cultural hardening going on between coastal collectivists and people inland. Let her have her free speech and the consequences that go with it.
The current condition of the Left is one that sees almost everything through the lens of power. But not power as it exists but power as it is demned to be.
Power is deemed to be associated with certain things, like being white or male or straight, even when it isn’t. Oppression and things like it are deemed to be the properties of those who are not deemed to have power, even when do.
Deeming is not an argument, nor is it in any way refutable or falsifiable with facts. Deeming is pronouncement, it is announcement.
To those who are deemed victims they cannot have the qualities of those who injure: they have a built in defense against any charge of all the negative -isms of the world.
As such, for example, if the color of their skin is deemed to preclude them being racists they are free to be asracists as they desire with no fear of consequences.
Conversely, if someone by dent of the color off their skin is deemed to be racist then nothing short of obsequious parroting of the particulars of ideology of power will do for them to be considered non-racist.
Then there is a third group, not deemed victims or racist, these are in the middle. If they play ball for the right team they can employ all the attitudes of victims provided too.
So when the color of your skin determines if you have power, if you’re a victim, it is not the content of your character that matters.
Justice due to actual flesh and blood Persons becomes unimportant compared to Social Justice rendered to abstract entities.
Like the Constitution before the fictional “living Constitution”, actual Justice has become merely the Left’s Just-Us.

The embrace of White Genocide is a core part of liberalism.
the entire media stuck up for the RACIST New York Times hiring Sarah Jeong who calls for the extermination of white people.
So every time a media outlet covers a racism story about minorities (usually fake) throw this back in their face and tell them they are hypocrites and have no credibility on the issue.
