BTW, when I was briefly a hippy, I was of the "Jesus Freak" variety...except when it came to the free love offered by the Hippie Chicks.
Thank God for old age and maturity (really).
I wouldn't want to go back there.
Really (well, almost really).
Temptation is always with us, isn't it?

Yes, it does, but less and less until society becomes dysfunctional.

1. Usurpation of States’ Rights via the Communist (Progressive) 17th Amendment.
2. Usurpation of RNC by Trotskyists (Neoconservatives) after WWII, producing the COP [Controlled Opposition Party], which yielded the UniParty.

UK press to Larry Norman, circa 1969+:
“Is it true you started the Jesus Movement?”
Larry Norman to the UK press:
“I think Jesus did that.”

It’s called affirmative action. Why don’t they just hand minorities any degree they choose? It’s a farce to pretend they earned it.

It looks like the Rhodes Scholar program has gone the way of the Peace Prize....need a little slime to grease the skids for it...I knew a guy who was a Rhodes Scholar in music - played some little uke-like stringed instrument that most of have never heard of.....if he had made a cardboard boc banjo he might have gotten a second set of honors for it.

Wasn’t the goal to Anglicize third world or European students? In the 1800s probably a good idea. Today, not so good.
