It’s called affirmative action. Why don’t they just hand minorities any degree they choose? It’s a farce to pretend they earned it.
It looks like the Rhodes Scholar program has gone the way of the Peace Prize....need a little slime to grease the skids for it...I knew a guy who was a Rhodes Scholar in music - played some little uke-like stringed instrument that most of have never heard of.....if he had made a cardboard boc banjo he might have gotten a second set of honors for it.
